MVLT Receives Foundation Support

MVLT was recently awarded two generous grants from the Norcross Wildlife Foundation and the NLT Foundation. We thank them both for their support.

The Norcross Foundation's grant helped address technology needs in the office. With their contribution of $2,100 and some very frugal shopping we were able to buy a new desktop computer, a laptop dedicated to presentations and special projects, two monitors, a keyboard, and updated software for all the office computers.

NLT Foundation awarded MVLT a grant of $10,000 as a partial match to the 2006 Maine Coast Protection Initiative funding in support of outreach and development. This grant will support staff time and materials for outreach events and activities.
