By Car: From the South take Route 95 North. Take exit 44 (I-295) off I-95 if you'd like to take the Coastal Route for a portion of your trip. Expect this to take longer due to traffic and construction but the views and shops are nice (LL Bean is in Freeport). As you continue North on I-295 the Coastal Route Brunswick Bath exit is #28. This takes you to Route 1. Follow Route 1 North into Rockland. Stay on Route 1 North (also Main Street) until Front Street (just before the Irving Mainway convenience store). Turn right onto Front Street and then immediately turn right down the hill to the North End Shipyard. You should be seeing water and masts at this point. Drive into the large parking area and park anywhere you would like as long as you are not blocking any of the many shipyard doors, dumpsters, or any other cars.

If you prefer a faster, less scenic route you can stay on I-95 North and exit in Augusta to Route 17. Follow Route 17 East into Rockland where it intersects with with Route 1 (McDonald's and Burger King are located at this intersection.) Turn right at the light and then left onto Front Street (immediately after the Irving Mainway convenience store.) Immediately turn right down the hill to the North End Shipyard.

From the North, follow Route 1 South into Rockland. Go straight at the light by the intersection of Route 1 and 17 (where McDonald's and Burger King are located) and then left onto Front Street (immediately after the Irving Mainway convenience store.) Immediately turn right down the hill to the North End Shipyard.
