This is the Isaac H. Evans Screen saver. It is made from some of our favorite pictures, a few of the schooner underway and some of the spectacular scenery we see everyday when sailing. If you've been with us, it's like a photo album, but if you haven't, it may give you a better idea of the fun we have while sailing. Even though it's a compressed file, it will still take about 3-5 minutes to download, we just couldn't bear not including some of these pictures.
It is in self extracting form, and hopefully there aren't too many problems with the download. You can print this page out for instructions or you can e-mail if you need more guidance.
After downloading the screen saver, if your computer asks you to "run it or save it to disk", it is easiest just to run it, but it can also be saved to the Desktop. If on the desktop, just click on it to run it.

It should automatically go in the right directory (c:\windows\system), so just unzip it, and then close the dialog box. To launch it as the default screen saver, right click on the Windows screen, go down the dialog box to Properties, go to the Screen Saver tab, find the filed named Evans, click on okay, and it should work. You can use the settings tab to adjust some of the screen saver's characteristics. Once it is installed, you can delete the "saver.exe" file from the desktop. Have fun and let us know how you like it.

All photos are copyrighted by the photographers, so please ask for permission to use them for anything other than this screen saver, thanks.

There are currently 2 screen savers, a 640x480 version, and a 800x600, both configured for PC's.
