finback whale
That's not a big rock in front of us...that's a finback whale!

an ocean sunfish
This is an ocean sunfish. They grow to be up to 3,000 pounds.
They eat jellyfish and are covered in mucus. Oh, and they're kind of ugly, too!

an otter!
It's hard to see, but there is an otter in the lower left corner of the picture above!
He visited us while we enjoyed our lobster bake. I bet he was waiting for our left-overs.

sea cucumber, sea stars
We gathered these sea creatures at a lobster bake and put them back
into the ocean after everyone had a chance to see and touch them.
We had a sea cucumber, many sea stars, and many crabs!
dolphin
This is an Atlantic white-sided dolphin. We usually see harbor porpoises instead of dolphins so this was a rare sighting for us.
See the sneakers to the left? That's how close a guest was to the dolphins as they swam along beside us at the bow!
