Transfering Your Web Page
Once you have created you web page you will need to move the file to the space provided by MIS on one of the servers in the system. Most of the time you will use a program that sends the files using the FTP (file transfer protocol). The links below show examples of how to use two programs to get your pages where they can be seen.

FTP-ing web pages to the server (Macintosh) This shows how you would use the "Fetch" program on a Mac.

FTP-ing web pages to the server (Windows and Windows 95) This shows how you would use the "WinQVT" and "WS-FTP" programs on the Windows platform.
