our wireless customers use our proxy server, for faster loading of web
pages. Changes
to make in Windows to use our proxy server for Internet Explorer *Note: Different
versions of Internet Explorer may have slight variations of proxy configuration. 1.Click “Start,” “Settings,” “Control Panel”. Now select
the “Internet Options” icon, it may just be called “Internet” on Windows
95 machines. 2.Now select the “Connections” tab at the top of the new
window. The connections tab may be called something slightly different
for Windows 95. Be sure that the button next to “never dial a connection”
is selected. See pictures below for example.
3. Now click on the
“LAN settings” tab on the bottom right (picture A). Now check the box
that say’s “Use a Proxy Server” (picture B). 4. Type in the Address:
69.39.100.2 and the Port: 8080. Now click “Apply” or “O.K.”
to save the changes you’ve made. |
