You will need to load the Profile Manager in order to create a new profile. You can find this by going to the start button, Programs, Netscape 6, and click on Profile Manger. You should see the screen below. Click on the Create Profile button.

This is the introductory screen, Please read the paragraph and click next.

Enter the Name you would like referrer to this profile, such as John Doe's Email.

Once the new profile has been created you will need to Start Netscape in this profile to setup the email settings. Click Start Netscape 6.

This is a screen that is attempting to make you setup a Netscape screen name. This is NOT a required thing you must do. Just Simply Click Cancel.

If you are sure you do not want a netscape screen name then Click Cancel once again.

Now Netscape will ask you for your Email information. Choose ISP or Email Provider option and click next.

In the Your Name Field simply type in your name as you would like it to appear. In the Email Address field type in your email address. It should look similar to this ( username@midcoast.com ). Then click next.

For Incoming Server choose the POP option and type midcoast.com for the server name. Click next.

In the User Name type only your username, NOT your email address. Now click next.

In the Account Name box you can type in whatever you like, preferably your email address and click next.
