Modify Existing Account on Outlook Express 6

To change your existing Outlook Express email settings follow these steps. Open Outlook Express, goto tools then click on Accounts.

Highlight your existing email account and click the Properties button.

Under the general tab you will see a Name field, you can type whatever you like here preferably Just your name. Then you will see an E-mail Address field, type in your email address such as username@midcoast.com. Then click on the servers tab.

| Here you will see an Incoming mail (POP3) and a Outgoing mail
(SMTP) field type midcoast.com for both. Below you will see an
Account name field enter your username only NOT your email
address. Then type in your password. You can checkmark remember password
if you wish. When you are all finished click Apply then the OK
button.
You can now close the Accounts screen and start sending and recieving mail with your midcoast.com email account.
