To create a new identity for Outlook Express, you will need to goto the file menu, then the identities option and choose Add New Identity.

In the Type your name field enter the name in which you would like to refer to this identy. Such as John Doe's Mail. You do not have to use a password unless you wish to password protect your identity. Then click the OK button.

Answer Yes to switch to the new identity now, it will then begin to ask you for your email information.

Outlook Express will need to gather the following information in order to setup your email account correctly. First it will ask you for a Display Name. This can be anything you like type it in as you would like to appear and click next.

Enter your email address in the E-Mail Address field, then click next.

Your incoming mail server is a POP3 server. Type midcoast.com for both Incoming POP3 server and Outgoing SMTP server and then click next.

On this screen you will enter your username only, NOT your email address in the Account Name field. Then type your password in the password field. You may check mark the remember password box. Now you can click Next.

Once you have completed entering all the information you will then click the Finish button. Outlook Express is now setup and you can start using your new identity and midcoast.com email account.
