New Account Setup

- Open Outlook Exprerss.
- Go to the Tools menu.
- Select the Accounts option.
- Click the Mail tab.
- Click the add button and choose mail.
- You will then be presented with the following wizard.

Outlook Express will now need to gather your account information in order to setup your email account correctly. First it will ask you for a Display Name. This can be anything you like. T ype it in as you would like to appear and click Next.


Enter your email address in the E-Mail address field, and then click Next.


Your incoming mail server is a POP3 server. Type midcoast.com for both Incoming POP3 server and Outgoing SMTP server and then click Next.



On this screen you will enter your username in the Account Name field. Then type your password in the password field. You may check mark the remember password box if you would like Outlook Express to remember the password. Now you can click Next.


Once you have completed entering all the information you will then click the Finish button. Close the accounts window and Outlook Express is now setup. You can start using your midcoast.com email account.
