April 2003

• April 29, 2003 3:50-4:20pm. Some people had trouble with 563-6622. We've traced this to a bad T1 line in a group which we have taken out of service until tomorrow when phone company people can investigate.
• April 18, 2003 7:30pm-10:00pm. The link between our datacenter and the Knox County Courthouse had trouble. This caused a wireless outage for wireless customer who aim toward that building during this time.
• April 18, 2003 10:00-10:15am. Our proxy server was out of service for a reboot. This only affected people who the proxy server.
• April 16, 2003 8:00am-9:30am. Wireless customer in Owls Head and Belfast had performance problems while a network problem in Owls Head was diagnosed and fixed.
• April 11, 2003 A newsletter has been sent out to all midcoast.com and lincoln.midcoast.com accounts. A copy is archived here.
• April 6, 2003 10:15pm-10:30pm. During this time, I made a typo configuring the main router, causing internet problems for about ten minutes. Once the router was rebooted, things were fine again.
• April 1, 2003 9:00am. DSL for Lincolnville and Damariscotta is down for a few minutes while tidewater moves us to the new DSL network for more coverage.
