- Dec 31, 2003 845-2080/845-3050 is going away this morning. This
is the old 33.6 number for Washington. This changes was mentioned in our
last newsletter. 845-2002, 1-500-699-7201, and 1-500-699-7200 are better
replacements.
- Dec 27, 2003 9:45am. There is a problem in Washington
affecting our 845-2002 and 589-3003 numbers. We will be working on its
repair this morning. This was fixed at about 10:30am.
- Dec 19, 2003 10:30am. New updates for SpamAssassin have been
installed on our servers. This provides more detection for the recent
spammer fads of putting random html-looking codes in email, words
broken with dots, and random subject suffixes.
- Dec 12, 2003 This morning, there is a problem with the link
to Ragged Mountain. This affects wireless customers who aim to Ragged
Mountain. This was fixed later in the day with some new radio equipment.
- Dec 11, 2003 7:30pm. The problem with the Internet
Accelerator server is fixed and things are working fast again.
- Dec 10, 2003 We have experienced a problem with the hardware
we have to provide Internet Accelerator. Venturi is shipping some new
hardware which we should be able to install tomorrow to fix this. In the
meantime, you may ignore any messages from the client software, or
temporary disable it by rightclicking on the V in the system tray and
selecting exit or disable.
- Dec 2, 2003 6:30-6:50pm. About 25% of midcoast.com users
could not check for new mail during this time as a server needed a
reboot. Other services were fully functional while this work was
performed.
