- January 26, 2007 2:00-2:30pm. Lincoln.midcoast.com users will
be having a mail delay during this time. Some unplanned service work is
required during this time.
- January 24, 2007 7:30-9:00am. Work was performed on our
equipment in Nobleboro for providing DSL to the Tidewater/Lincolville
areas. Our ethernet switched failed to come back up after being moved to
a new UPS at 7:30am. A replacement switch will be installed by about
8:45am. During this time, DSL for customers in that area will not be
working. Software upgrades were also made that should improve DSL
performance once things are available again.
UPDATE: An accident on Route 1 slowed our courier with the new
equipment. UPDATE: Things are working properly with the
replacement equipment at about 9:00am.
- January 22, 2007 11:00am. The Owls Head Airport repeater site
will recieve an upgrade to allow for better speed and capacity. This
will cause an outage and will only last about 10-15 minutes.
- January 16, 2007 10:20am. The upgrade for
the lincoln.midcoast.com server is complete. It now runs a newer
operating system and newer email and anti-spam software. Lincoln now has
squirrelmail webmail like the other email servers.
- January 16, 2007 10:00am. lincoln.midcoast.com customers may
observe some problems checking mail for a few minutes while the server
is upgraded.
- January 6, 2007 Belfast wireless is temporarily out of service
due to widespread power outage in the Belfast area.
- January 5, 2007 This morning people using Mailman webmail had
trouble getting into their mailboxes. This was a problem on the server
and has been fixed. Midcoast.com and kona.midcoast.com users are
encouraged to begin moving to the new squirrelmail webmail system
instead.
