June 2003
- June 30, 2003 5:00pm. Power is out at our location in Union,
due to lightning. This affects people using our 785-6622 number and the
Union wireless customers. When power is restored, things should be fine
again.
- June 23, 2003 3:00pm. All of the equipment on our 1500-699-7200
number has been upgraded to support V.92 at this time.
- June 23, 2003 10:00am. the important server blackcoffee
needed an unscheduled reboot. This took about five minutes and affected
many connections while it was rebooting. Also a wireless radio was
replaced that serves customers in Rockport. This had been damaged by
lightning.
- June 12, 2003 9:00am. The T1 serving our Westport/Wiscasset
area wireless customers is having trouble this morning. We have contacted
Verizon for repair and will keep you updated.
- June 10, 2003 9:00am. The T1 serving our Westport/Wiscasset
area wireless customers is having trouble this morning. We are investigating.
- June 4, 2003 1:00pm. We have determined that Northland
reassigned our 845-2002 56k dialin number to a very unfortunate
residential customer whose dog does not like the phone ringing constantly.
Northland's repair has been alerted and intends to have it fixed this
afternoon.
- June 3, 2003 This morning, we are having trouble with our
563-6622 number. We expect it to be fixed shortly. This was repaired at
anout noontime by Tidewater staff.
- June 2, 2003 For about 5 minutes at 3pm, and about 10 minutes
at 10:40pm, people using the wireless service through our Owls Head tower
had trouble. This is due to upgrades we have been working on today. We
have replaced the high speed link between the tower and our datacenter
with one which we have reason to believe will be more reliable and provide
better performance.
