• March 30, 2005 At 5:30pm, we will be causing about a 30 second outage for wireless customers of the Owls Head tower. This is part of an upgrade.
• March 30, 2005 Our newest phone numbers and some internet destinations are slower than ideal this afternoon due to an outage in Portland at one of upstream providers. People are working on and it and we will be monitoring things this evening for resolution.
• March 30, 2005 This afternoon the customers in the 328 Main St building in Rockland received a performance upgrade.
• March 30, 2005 The wireless repeater at CCI in Rockport is being upgraded this afternoon and may cause a 5 minute outage for those customers utilitizing it.
• March 28, 2005 New phone numbers to replace the 1-500 number system are available. The numbers are here sorted by either town or exchange. Please let MIS know if you have any trouble with these numbers or need assistance making the change. Pick a number from the list that is local from your location. We don't yet have numbers for Washington/Liberty so those customers should not change at this time.
• March 22, 2005 9:30-9:45am. The server for www.midcoast.com was down for an unscheduled rebooting. Many internet activities were affected during this work.
• March 19, 2005 During the morning, upgrade work will be performed at Benner Hill. This will affect Metinic and Tommys Island repeater customers for about five minutes.
• March 18, 2005 5:00pm. Many full virtual domains which were served by froth were moved to a faster and newer server today.
