- November 27, 2008 9pm. The MIS network is currently back to
full power. We would like to thank Central Maine Power and various other
contractors who worked countless hours to help restore power throughout
the holiday.
- November 25-26, 2008 5:10pm. A power outage in Nobleboro has
outlasted our battery system there. This caused an outage for DSL in
the Tidewater/Lincolnville service areas till 6:00pm.
This ran on generator providing service till about 2am. An electrical
problem damaged a piece of equipment providing service to this in
Rockland and that was replaced by 5am. Benner Hill in Rockland lost
power during the 2:00-3:00am time period. Islesboro and various
neighborhood repeaters are currently without service due to widespread
power outages. Most of our sites are working because of custom
battery systems or generator.
- November 18, 2008 Noon: There is a power problem of some sort
causing an outage at the Airport in Owls Head. The problem was corrected.
- November 17, 2008 4:30pm. There is a problem at the South
Shore Drive wireless repeater in Owls Head. We are gathering replacement

Tidewater/LTC area DSL and Tommy's Island wireless was upgraded.
- November 7, 2008 Recently there is another Virus/Trojan making the rounds as an
email attachment. This recent virus claims to be from UPS and you will be charged for a
package. These emails are typically worded in a way to trick people into opening an
infected attachment. You should wary of opening any attachment from anyone. The best
solution to not open something that looks suspicious and to have an up to date Anti-Virus
program on your computer.

Springs repeater while CMP replaces some poles in the area.

intermittent outages. We have tracked down the problem and will be
fixing it this evening. This will cause a ten to fifteen minute outage
while we change the part at our datacenter. Update The problem
router card was changed with a spare and is now working properly.
