• September 27, 2006 Some wireless customers who aim to Benner Hill are having speed issues (unrelated to the upgrade). We will be changing some equipment to address this tomorrow (Sept 28).
• September 27, 2006 The link between Benner Hill and our Datacenter tower was upgraded from 28 to 54 megabit for future growth needs.
• September 26, 2006 This morning many people can not get to certain internet sites such as google, blogspot, newegg, and others. Things here are working fine and have been triple checked for proper operation. The problem seems to be out on the Internet somewhere beyond our control.
• September 21, 2006 Some parts of the state have stopped working the the old 500-number system. We have other phone numbers to choose from that should work as a local call.
• September 12, 2006 11:45-11:55am. Isle of Spring customers experienced an outage during this time while a piece of radio equipment was replaced on the island for better performance.
• September 8, 2006 4:30-5:15pm. Wireless customers aiming to the Rockland Courthouse are experiencing a problem. The problem is at our datacenter. The problem was a damaged outdoor cable on the tower. It was quickly replaced and service was instantly restored.
• September 4, 2006 11:00am-12:45pm. During this time there was a problem with one of the six email servers for midcoast.com email addresses. Some people observed an error when checking email because of this.
