What is VOIP?

In the beginning, an Internet user got their Internet over the phone. Now with DSL, you can get Internet along side phone; with wireless, you can get Internet and phone without any phone lines. Now you can add phone service to your Internet connection. Confusing? Just think of VOIP as another cool thing you can do with the Internet.
