THE OKAVANGO DELTA

IN THE NORTHWEST PART OF BOTSWANA
We fly from Johannesburg to Maun, Botswana where we transfer to smaller planes to take us into this beautiful delta to our first lodging-- Camp Okavango.
Our "Home" for two nights
We travel with outboards through the delta and on occasion transfer to canoes for a closer look at wildlife.

And around the bend in the delta, look who's waiting We pass a family of Maribou Storks
A Blacksmith Bird awaits us A Giraffe steps lively
Watching for game
Back to the boats for a 3 hour scenic trip to our next camp in the Okavango Delta. And on the way....
....A short refreshment stop. ....and bird watching.
Camp Moremi is located on the Xakanaxa Lagoon on the eastern edge of the Okavango Delta and within the Moremi Wildlife Reserve.
