we are here in the democratic republic of congo; it used to be called zaire
this is a view of bethel
we have a room in the Congo Bethel, where the family is about 300 people.
meals and accommodations are provided for us.
one of our neighbors brought us this soursop. it tastes a little like citrus with some subtle overtones
beside the road is as good a place as any to farm when you're in africa
need to move a big load of mattresses? just use a two-wheeled cart and don't mind the traffic
we put the roof on this week. there are bethelites moving into the main part of the house this weekend
here is a map showing the relative positions of the hall and bethel. don't ask me how far it is;
everything here is metric anyway. it takes about 15 minutes to make the trip
you can listen to a capella singing
if you take out your songbook and follow along, you can tell it's english we are singing.
otherwise, you'd never know
