These models result from a conversation, (visual on my part) with members of the FCnet-- http://www.ferrocement.net/ . Richard Austin (http://home.earthlink.net/~healthstyle) was interested in means to make patterns for inflatable forms, for the application of ferrocement housing. The inventor of the inflatable dome form visited the FCnet occassionally and has a webpage on the site-- http://paisite.com . I started modeling the simplified surfaces to better underestand the objective of these users of the inflatable forms. The so called catenary arch was of interest, seen in some models here. I believe this geometry is a good way to ponder interior surfaces of compresive design for vaults in general.

will help you visualize

your dream structure ,at no cost,

time permiting, as a public service.

Have your dream shapes unfolded into patterns

for cutting materials. Computer accurate geodesics

or gores for domes and simple donuts,

are free for the asking deliverd over the www.

All these offers are conceptual geometry only.

Details like doors and windows, organic structures

and weave patterns involve more time and materials these

geometries are available at modest formatting and rendering costs.

Your dream design can be artfully arranged and

renderd for presentation to your licensed engineer,

architect or official for their review. Specify your format.

Print services for your presentation art can be taylored to

your request, for a reasonable printing charge.

These are dream visualization services only,

enersearch is not an engineering service.

Surface area data, volume measures, etc are

all available as time permits.
