Kids Rock
is the name of our Christian Education program for children ages 3-13!

Buzz logoBUZZ! (by Group Publishing)

Group’s Buzz curriculum is an entirely new way to teach children the timeless truths of the Bible a way that excites and engages kids.

Every lesson follows the same general pattern:

  1. Buzz Bond connects kids with each other and you
  2. God Sightings teach children that God’s at work in their lives
  3. Bible Buzz engages kids with God’s Word
  4. Buzz in Action helps children see how to live out what they learn
  5. Let’s Pray gets children praying in creative, heart-shaping ways
  6. Faith Buzz at Home carries the lesson home to share with parents

But lessons aren’t predictable. There’s variety and surprise and a chance for kids to choose what’s up next. Lessons are never the same twice…and that means they’re never boring!

Themes and activities are age-appropriate attention-grabbers. And each quarter features one of eight foundational attributes of God so kids really get to know how amazing God is as revealed in the Bible.

Crossings for older youth

The Crossings confirmation program concentrates on three areas:

  1. Identify the eight parts of the core biblical story. Crossings explores five events from the Hebrew Scripture and three events from the New testament in order to discover how God speaks to us and leads us in our journeys.
  2. Relate the core biblical story to our individual stories. Each of the 30 sessions helps youth explore the intersection between the Bible and their own questions of identity, doubts, and hope, as they discover the questions the story asks of them.
  3. Participate in the real life practices of the Christian church through worship, community, devotional life, and service.
  • Worship: Faithful participation in the Lord’s Supper and experiences of God’s grace.
  • Community: Connections with others who encourage and nurture us in faith.
  • Devotional life: Individual prayer and study that brings depth, growth, and new hope.
  • Service: Extending ourselves for others brings justice and renewal to every part of God’s creation.
