Spiritual Ministries

Prayer Shawl

The Prayer Shawl Ministry Knitters meet weekly on Monday evenings at 6:30 p.m. in the church lounge (at the back of the sanctuary) to knit shawls, which are prayed over and blessed, and given to anyone who stands in need of comfort.  The hands of the givers and the hearts of the receivers are blessed, warmed and enriched by this shared experience of the power of prayer and God’s unfailing faithfulness.

Men’s Prayer Group

This informal group meets twice monthly for a time of support and confidential sharing for men.

Prayer Chain

Lift up your concerns to God through the prayer chain network.  Start the chain by calling the church office.  All requests are confidential.

Visitation Team

A faithful group which makes regular home visits to members of the church family who are shut-in or live in nursing homes.

Home Communion Team

Another group which brings and shares the elements of the Lord’s Supper with those who are unable to attend church for any reason.

Sharing the Sermon

Each Sunday’s sermon is sent by e-mail or regular mail to a regular list of recipients.  Copies are printed and put in the literature rack in the church lounge.  You can ask to be added to the sermon mailing list or just request a copy of a particular sermon.
