Youth Group
Rockland Congregational Church's Youth Group welcomes young people in grades 6-12 from the Midcoast community. The Youth Group meets twice a month, on the second and fourth Wednesday, throughout the summer. There is also a movie night once a month AND a fun activity. For more information call the church office 594-8656.
The Youth Group continued to meet throughout the summer. Activities included watching movies, planting and tending a vegetable garden with all the produce going to the Area Interfaith Outreach food pantry, and climbing Mount Battie to enjoy a picnic lunch at the top. The Youth Group will meet regularly during the school year at 5:30 p.m. on the second and fourth Wednesdays of each month.

Sleeping was not on the agenda at the Interfaith Youth Group Sleep-over on Friday April 9 - notice the clock reads 2:30am! With chaperones Kate Jones, Lori Pezanowski and Geary Smith, assisted by Michelle Bradley and Aaron Glover at check-in and Pam Tibbetts, Rev. Seth Jones, Nat Hall and Anna Mason as the breakfast crew, 18 young people enjoyed an overnight party of games, movies and snacks. The Youth Group participants attend Nativity Lutheran Church, St Bernard's Catholic Church, St. John's Episcopal Church and Rockland Congregational Church. They enjoy getting together for faith, fun and fellowship at 5:30 pm on the first and third Wednesdays of the month, in the Youth Room at Rockland Congregational Church.
