I have been practicing law in Colorado and Maine for over thirty-four years. During this time the majority of my practice has consisted of civil litigation representing both individuals and businesses in most types of commercial disputes, including contract disputes, construction disputes, securities fraud cases, personal injury suits, civil rights litigation and professional negligence actions.

My goal has been to provide to every client the highest level of individual attention that each client deserves and expects. As a lawyer and advocate for my clients, I strive to provide every client with aggressive personalized representation, as well as sophisticated, high quality legal services. These services range from the organization and representation of new and small businesses to representing individuals and corporations in complex civil litigation in state and federal court.

A large percentage of my practice comes from other law firms which do not have the staff or capabilities to handle long, complex, document intensive litigation. In these cases I always protect and maintain the relationship between the referring attorney and his or her client.

As an attorney who has devoted thirty-four years to dispute resolution, I am firmly committed to resolving disputes without the necessity of litigation. For those circumstances where dispute resolution is not successful, I personally handle that litigation. I have tried several hundred bench and jury trials. When a client retains my firm and a trial is necessary, I am the attorney that tries the case. I have always been and remain committed to the principal that when a client retains my law firm, the client retains me personally.
