Music
One of my biggest hobbies is music and great audio. I like to
consider myself a music connoisseur and an audiophile.
As a lover of music I find I am always exploring new forms of
music. Yet I explore musical styles very completely. I am not
on rock one day and jazz the next. My study of music is very much
for pleasure so even though it can be somewhat sporadic I do believe
that I am giving myself a very complete and fun musical education.
At this time my study as I like to call it is a listen only venture.
I do not play anything outside of my audio system. However I assure
you I am great at playing that!
Currently this page only represents a very small portion of my
musical interest. I like rock from the 50s, 60s, 70s, some 80s,
some 90s, disco, dance, big band, swing, be-bop jazz, modal jazz,
fusion, delta, Chicago and Texas blues, classic, standards. Ok
I will stop. I think you get the point. I am not a huge fan of
country but there are some bits here and there I do like. I do
also have great respect for many country musicians and the influence
they had.
