The Schooner
Kathryn B.

A traditional Chesapeake Skipjack.
The Chesapeake
Cruise the Chesapeake's sandy, placid bays
where generations of fishermen have plied their trade in traditional
oystering workboats like skipjacks and bugeyes. Explore wonderful
villages on the Eastern Shore and visit the shops of expert decoy
carvers and other Maryland craftsmen.
Join us for a barbecue at anchor, or a crab and oyster feast on
the beach. Go rowing and sailing in the skiff, or bike down winding
country roads.
On the shoulders of the season, we also invite passengers to come
with us as we wend our way along the Intracoastal Waterway between
Virginia and South Carolina. You'll enjoy widely varied scenery, a
never-ending parade of vessels of all sizes and descriptions, and
ports of call that include both hard-working fishing communities and
polished resorts. There are terrific golf courses along our route,
too.
