Sail through Maine's spectacular Down East scenery to tranquil bays, salty fishing villages, and pine-sheathed islands.

We'll take you to seaside resorts made famous by generations of summer "rusticators," and stop at deserted islands just right for our old-fashioned Maine lobsterbake with all the trimmings.

You'll dine on the best Maine foods, including fresh seafoods, garden vegetables, and irresistible desserts baked from scratch right in the galley.

You needn't feel guilty about any caloric indulges, either. There are always plenty of opportunities to go hiking or biking ashore, or to take a spin in the rowing and sailing skiff.

All the cabins on the  Kathryn B have private heads and showers.Our main salon is on deck with large windows to view the scenery, so passengers will be comfortable on the hot sunny days, and cool foggy days too. We also offer a permanent sailing awning.

Sailing From Rockland Harbor

Leaving from Rockland Maine, the Kathryn B. sails on three- and six-day cruises along the Maine coast and among its hundreds of unspoiled islands from late June to September.

On six-night cruises guest board on Sunday after 5pm. and are greeted with a chilled glass of wine and hors d'oeures. There are a number of excellent choices ashore, and we will be happy to help you with your reservations. The Kathryn B. departs after breakfast aboard on Monday, and returns Saturday before noon.

Three-day cruises board either Sunday or Wednesday night after 5pm, sailing after breakfast next morning. Included in price is stateroom, all meals (except first nights dinner), all soft drinks, and wine with dinner.

The first night's dinner is not included.

Cancellation Policy
We require 30% down for a reservation Mastercard and visa accepted for a reservation. Parties of three or more cabins, 50% deposit. The balance is due 8 weeks before we sail, payment by check only no visa or mastercard.
If you cancel before 61 days before we sail;the deposit is refunded in full less a 10% handling fee.
Canceling after 60 days is non-refundable unless I can re-book your cabin. If I can re-book your cabin you will get back 90% with a 10% handling fee. I STRONGLY suggest travel insurance. That has to be purchased within 7 days of a reservation. Some of my passengers have used Mutual of Omaha 800-228-9792

Whole Boat Reservations:
50% deposit Mastercard and Visa accepted. Reservation is non-refundable, unless I can re-book the vessel then you would get back 90% of deposit less a 10% handling fee.
Balance is due 8 weeks before we sail.
