October meeting of the Appleton Historical Society
Monday, October 6th at 7:00 p.m.

At the Appleton Town Hall.

The October meeting of the Appleton Historical Society will take place Monday, October 6th at 7:00 p.m. at Appleton Town Hall. Stephen Gleasner of Appleton will speak on his experience this summer racing in The Tour Divide, a grueling 2,700 mile epic bicycle race from Banff, Alberta, Canada to Antelope Wells, New Mexico. Snow, blazing heat, hunger, stomach flu, mechanical failure, bears and rattlesnakes all posed challenges along the route, which followed the Continental Divide. Stephen will show slides of the race, and it will be an interesting evening, so bring a friend and remind a neighbor!
