Subject: Retrospective Conversion Approved
At its meeting on January 24, the Maine Info Net Committee decided to support retrospective conversion of the materials you described in your response to the Maine Info Net Retrospective Conversion Survey distributed in November, 2000.
Given its nature, and the relatively small numbers involved, your collection, as well as that of a number of other libraries with similar collections, will be converted by a contract cataloger yet to be hired. You will be contacted in the next several months to work out the logistics.
