Volunteer Fire Chief: David Stone
Fire Chief Dave Stone fills out an average of 30 incident reports each year, one for each call. The Appleton Fire Department typically sees two structure fires each year, a couple of chimney fires, a couple of wood pile or grass fires and a handful of false alarms. Volunteers roll to every traffic accident involving injuries and provide "mutual aid" to nearby departments when the need arises. The other departments reciprocate when needed by the Appleton department.
