North Pond is one of a chain of three lakes that flow north (very rare) and empty into the Saint George River. The State Department of Fish and Wildlife stocks North Pond with brown trout in autumn. Jeff Tucker caught a prize 6 & 1/4 pounds largemouth bass in 1997. The lake also contains white and yellow perch, pickerel and hornpout. North Pond is 326 acres with a maximum depth of 41 feet.
