ABOUT THE
PRESENTERS
Dr. Sara Forman, M.D., is an
attending physician in Adolescent Medicine at Children's Hospital, Boston. For the
last 10 years, Dr. Forman has served as Director of the Adolescent
Outpatient Eating Disorders Clinic. Dr. Forman has consulted for the
National Eating Disorder Screening Project on their high school
initiative. She has presented at many
conferences about teens and eating disorders and recently worked on a
research project looking at variability in medical admission criteria for
adolescents with anorexia nervosa.
Marcia Herrin, EdD, MPH, RD, LD, is the founder and
director of Nutrition Education Program, at Dartmouth College and the
co-director of the Dartmouth College Eating Disorder Treatment, Education,
and Prevention Program. She is the
author of texts on eating disorders and obesity, a lecturer on eating
disorders, obesity, childhood feeding, and sports nutrition, and a
consultant to college eating disorder and nutrition programs. Currently she
is Adjunct Assistant Professor, Department of Family and Community
Medicine, Dartmouth College Medical School, and has a
private practice.
Patrice D. Lockhart,
M.D. is
the Medical Director of the New England Eating Disorders Program at Mercy Hospital in Portland, and a solo practitioner in a private
practice specializing in adult and adolescent psychiatry
in Gorham, Maine.
Ida O’Donnell, LCSW is a
psychotherapist and consultant in Southern Maine. She
received her Masters Degree in Social Work from the University of New
England. She specializes in providing
psychotherapy, support and education regarding Eating Disorders, Trauma
related disorders and Obsessive Compulsive Disorder to clients, family
members and health care providers.
Ida has worked in community health centers, has also
presented at the EMDR International
