Watershed residents came together Saturday to celebrate the beauty and the bounty of the Medomak River watershed at MVLT's River Festival.  Over 200 people gathered in Waldoboro village to enjoy the festivities.  The midday celebration included music by Steelin' Thunder, lunch with Medomak River clams and bratwurst from Morse's Sauerkraut, a touch tank and boat building for children, a harvest market with locally made fiber, pottery, woodcarvings and food products, and information on a wide range of conservation activities taking place in the watershed.  Other activities included a bus tour of family farms and a boat ride on Muscongus Bay.

MVLT's River Festival a Great Success!
