About the Author
So what do you want to know? I assume you're not really interested in my life history or whatnot, because if you were, I'd write a memoir. Which I may, at some point. Although, considering that I was born in 1975 (ack! I just gave away my elderly status), it wouldn't be a WWII memoir. More like an ED memoir. Which I've been asked to write, so stayed tuned.
But back to ED. Who is this dude, you ask? ED is not a who, but a what. ED stands for Eating Disorder. Killing Gretl is actually my second novel, and completely dissimilar to my first (except for the fact that both of my main characters share their lives with ED). While Killing Gretl is a literary novel focusing on the consequences of guilt in relation to surviving after war and dealing with the challenge of parenting, my first novel, The Anorexic Food Writer, is a humorous novel (with a serious tilt, obviously) focusing on Olivia deVerone, food writer and anorexic. As a wearer of many coats (because, since I have relatively no body fat, I'm always cold), I also own an online fitness store, Advanced Workouts, and am a background exerciser in Amy Bento's fitness DVDs.
Okay, enough about me. I don't want to bore you or anything. If you're so completely and absolutely enthralled that you simply must learn more, well ... get a life! Or, contact me (via Advanced Workouts) and I'll tell you whatever you feel you need to know. I may think you're a bit nosy, though (just being honest). Unless, of course, you're a literary agent, in which case -- bring it on!
