The Falcon Ridge Folk Festival, a three-day community of folk music and dance at the foot of the Berkshires in east-central New York State. The 2000 Falcon Ridge Folk Festival will be held on July 27, 28, and 29 2001, on the Long Hill Farm in Hillsdale, New York. Picturing Our Past Through the National Register, an exhibition presented by the Westchester County Historical Society with The Hudson River Museum, will be on display at the Museum Gallery, White Plains Public Library, 100 Martine Avenue, through December 31. Opening reception will be held September 24 at 2:30 p.m. 914-422-1480. Grass Roots 2000 - the 24th Annual Juried Exhibition, will open with a reception at the Gallery on the Hudson, One Bridge Street, Irvington, on Sunday, September 24 from 4 - 6 p.m. The exhibition will continue through November 5. Hudson River School of Painting exhibition will open at the Putnam County Historical Society and Foundry School Museum in Cold Spring on September 3 and continue through November.
